Candy Canes

I don't like sitting on Santa's lap. Every Christmas I'm pressured to sit on some old man clad in red and fur. I just don't like it. When I was little it wasn't so bad, at least I had my sister with me. This year I just flat out refused. The scary head of santa that dangles on a string and sings christmas carols is a little morbid. Rudolph the reindeer had a big red lightbulb attached to his nose with tape. I just wanted a candy cane. Luckily my brother didn't eat all of his.

How are you supposed to eat candy canes. From the curved end? From the straight end? I personally start from the straight end, and use the curve as a handle.
