Races

I went to the races last night with Justin. I was roped into doing small odd jobs, it was pretty fun. Then once the races actually began, it got really cold and started raining. Throughout the night rain fell every once in awhile. It was so cold, Justin put his fire gear on. I think it was also to show off that he was a fireman. At least he was warm. I had four jackets on, two of which were borrowed, and I was still chilly. I had an interesting drive home. I started getting really tired, and then I went into spasms of shivering. It was not a good deal.

I stopped at Hy-Vee on the way home. I had decided home was the best place for me to be, and I figured I should tell someone so they didn't think I crashed. Then Hannah and Sammi showed up. I went to go drive by their car to tell them bye, when I realize I can't turn my ignition key. My car was stuck in a prime parking spot in the Hy-Vee parking lot. Parked fairly crazily. At this point I'm tired, cold, wet, and a bit delirious. Thank Heaven, Sammi is a pitying soul. She took me home.
